Chùa Vĩnh Hiệp (Ngã Bảy, Hậu Giang)

Chùa Vĩnh Hiệp – ngôi chùa độc đáo tọa lạc ngay bên bờ nhánh dòng sông Ngã Bảy, một địa điểm linh thiêng và lịch sử tại số 115 Khu vực 7, Phường Ngã Bảy, Thị xã Ngã Bảy, Tỉnh Hậu Giang.

Lịch sử

Lịch sử hình thành của ngôi chùa này bắt nguồn từ những năm đầu của thế kỷ XX, khi cố đại lão hoà thượng Thượng Liễu Hạ Giác khởi phát quá trình xây dựng. Phần đất nơi ngôi chùa hiện đứng được ông bà phật tử địa phương hiến cúng. Ban đầu, ngôi chùa chỉ là một mái lá vách đất đơn sơ. Sau khi hoà thượng qua đời, cô ni sư thích nữ Hồng Liên, được sự tin nhiệm của cộng đồng và kế thừa sứ mệnh của hoà thượng, đã trở thành trụ trì của ngôi Tam Bảo này.

Ngôi chùa đã trải qua quá trình trùng tu vào năm 1982, nhưng từ thời điểm đó đến nay, nó đã trải qua sự xuống cấp trầm trọng. Năm 2015, ngôi chùa tiếp tục kêu gọi trùng tu và vào ngày 19/9 năm Quý Tỵ, dự án đã được khởi công xây dựng lại, mặc dù vẫn còn thiếu kinh phí và đang trong quá trình cố gắng hoàn thành.

Kiến trúc

Kiến trúc của ngôi chùa đặc trưng bởi màu đồng, một tông màu làm nổi bật sự linh thiêng và tố chất truyền thống. Để đến thăm chùa, du khách cần đi qua cây cầu bắc qua nhánh sông Ngã Bảy.

Ngôi Tam Bảo tại chùa, mặc dù đã bị tổn thương qua thời gian, vẫn là dấu ấn quan trọng ghi chép lại công lao của tăng ni phật tử và sự hỗ trợ của những nhà hảo tâm trong quá trình xây dựng.

Welcome to the unique temple situated next to the branch of the Ngã Bảy River, a sacred and historical site located at 115 Area 7, Ngã Bảy Ward, Ngã Bảy Town, Hậu Giang Province.

The formation history of this temple dates back to the early 20th century when the venerable monk Thượng Liễu Hạ Giác laid the foundation for its construction. The land on which the temple now stands was donated by local Buddhist devotees. Initially, the temple was a simple structure with thatched walls. After the passing of the venerable monk, nun Hồng Liên, trusted by the community and inheriting the mission, became the abbess of the Tam Bảo temple.

The temple underwent renovation in 1982, but from then until now, it has experienced severe deterioration. In 2015, the temple continued to call for renovation, and on September 19, in the Year of the Tiger, reconstruction officially began, although funding is still lacking, and efforts are being made to complete the project.

The distinctive architecture of the temple is characterized by the color bronze, a hue that accentuates its sacred and traditional nature. To visit the temple, tourists need to cross a bridge over the branch of the Ngã Bảy River.

The Tam Bảo in the temple, although damaged over time, remains an important testament to the contributions of Buddhist followers and the support of philanthropists during the construction process.

In front of the temple courtyard, you will find statues of Quan Thế Âm, Di Lặc, Bà, and various other spiritual artifacts.

Currently, Venerable Thích Phước Dũng has assumed the responsibility of being the abbot at the temple, continuing to preserve and develop spirituality for the community.

Bienvenue dans ce temple unique situé à côté de la branche de la rivière Ngã Bảy, un site sacré et historique situé au 115 Area 7, Ngã Bảy Ward, Ngã Bảy Town, province de Hậu Giang.

L’histoire de la formation de ce temple remonte au début du XXe siècle lorsque le vénérable moine Thượng Liễu Hạ Giác posa la première pierre de sa construction. La terre sur laquelle se dresse maintenant le temple a été donnée par des dévots bouddhistes locaux. Initialement, le temple était une structure simple avec des murs de chaume. Après le décès du vénérable moine, la nonne Hồng Liên, faisant confiance à la communauté et héritant de la mission, est devenue l’abbesse du temple Tam Bảo.

Le temple a été rénové en 1982, mais depuis lors, il a connu une grave détérioration.
